Sentosa Fun 2006 ( NOSTALgIA)

Fiona, Naomi, Shermain and Kerinda and I, went to sentosa. I enjoyed myself very much with them and everything went smoothly despite the rain and the shrouded cloud in the late afternoon. I think sentosa's kaleidoscope of different type of bondings, be it family bonding, they have palawan beach, mingering with casual friends they have siloso beach.When we reached habourfront, we took our budget lunch. After that, our sentosa trip starts! When we alight from the bus, we proceed on to palawan beach. Two of my sister's friend, Shermaine and Karinda went to the toilet to change their shorts, meanwhile, Fiona and Naomi went to buy a ball, they intended to get a volley ball but in the end they brought back an air ball. Next, we played "monkey" while we took some candid pictures. " Hey, the ball is floating on the sea water " From a far view, while Kerinda was trying to catch the ball, it got into the sea. The lifeguard helped us to retrifed the ball, at first,we thought that he was a "hunk" but Kerinda told us that he was an uncle. (wahahahax). The sun tanning part was shiok, but toturing we sun tanned for about 20 minutes. It makes me feel thirsty. On the way to the toilet we saw a cute little toddler( I think he is a mixed blood, his skin colour and hair looks like a Caucasian, his mother is a chinese. She speaks mandarin to his son.) While we were trying to take some pictures at the treasure box water fountain, he was so cute that he was trying to play with us using his little water gun. We tried to a picture with him but he was focusing on his gun instead of the camera. Due to our savage act, we finally got our ball flatten a little. We gave him the ball.He looks so happy.After we were cleaned, we were so thristy. We made our trip to seven eleven to buy some drinks. " hoo " it was so shiok to have a fizzy drink after sun tanning.We board the train and set off palawan beach to siloso beach to have our lunch, SAKAE SUSHI. We were the only customer there, and something which amazed we were that the conveyor belt were empty, this was the first time that I have seen a conveyor belt with nothing and it was still moving uniformly. Well, the waiter said that they were trying to make the food fresh for the comsumer, thats why we have had to order manually. We have six girls and we were all big eaters, we had, fried maki, soft shell crab handroll, fried tofu, kiasiage, chawanmushi, it's abit inspid,cha soba etc. We hit the target of 60 plus of coloured plates.While it was raining heavily I feel so lucky to be inside the shelter having a buffet lunch. And due to Naomi whiny voice we got mochi, counted with the buffet lunch.Towards the end we crowded outside the restaraunt to take pictures,and the waiters who severed us took with us too. We took all those funny pictures. The funniest one was when we take turns to imitate the girl who was sleeping on the sashay loungue. Her cap was covering her face.After stepping out of SAKAE SUSHI, we went to take the train to the transfer station at siloso and took the sentosa bus to the terminal and board the next bus back to habourfront. Our Sentosa trip ends here but up next is shopping time. We went to vivo city to take a good look at it. I was enthralled by the size of the shopping mall. We did not manage to finish the shopping mall as it was too big and we were so tired ,and it is linked to its neighbor harbourfront centre. We made our way home after walking for such a long time and I have one red hairband for myself from forever21.Its a wonderful day.

Pulse Camp 2006, NOSTaLGia

Be careful of how you live-not as unwise but as wise, make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Ephesian 2:15-16.Before going to this camp, We were really reluctant to go for the camp as we thought that it would be a boredom throughout the 4 days.Honestly speaking, there were some programmes that makes me feel very dry and arid, eventually I fell asleep, esp for the message.I think for me, the most exciting game was " Are you ready" where we went to Orchard Road to play station game. I think it's not embarrassed to roar our cheerful in the crowd, in fact I think it's cool because it shows that we were united and steady. Well, in this game I found my group members were being cooperative as each of us did not grumble about the walking journey was a long mile. When we were walking in the wrong direction, Xiu wen pointed it out and all of us did not blame at each other, and continue our task actively. Hye Na had a gastric pain initially but she still manage to join us enthusiastically. I appreciate and admire our group's teamwork that's we deserved to be awarded the 3rd position. Not forgetting Wen Wei I really admired his versatile person because he would always be the one to share his idea to us regardless of drawing the flag, his idea for the skid. He was the one who exerted our scorings. As for Zachariah, he came from the boys school, so I think he may be shy by sharing his thought openly but I foresees his potential of leading. Up next, our group mentor Pei En, I admire that she would disclose her experience with us about BGR, when she was dating at that point of time, with her husband, Joseph( he is really a joker that outshine his jokes and laughter to the surrounding) anyways, may God bless them with happiness and eternity, they look compatible.Next, our group leader, Pei Yun, though she came in with Cherie in day 2 but we got clicked on within a few second . Though Cherie left us reluctantly in the next morning, but I find that she is an easy going person, friendly and influential person. For Pei Yun, she is really a good person, she was a responsible, caring, courages person, moreover, she had added spices to our group in order to make our more lively and cheerful. The last important person, Li Khim ( Ah Khim) our camp food committee member, the captain of 17th coy. Well, she is humorous and entertained us often.However, we didn't have much time to spend with her in the camp, for the games.Apart from my group member, I am really glad that I knew 2 more joker, Mei yi and Zhen Zhen. Through this camp, I had learnt a sense of leadership from Mei yi, I really admire her versatility. Nothing to descibe Mei Yi ,Zhen Zhen , Pei Yun, Wen Wei and Pei En as a born leader. I was thankful to God that He had made this camp a success and also thank him from teaching me leadership through all these people that I had learnt from and also thank you for allowing me to attend the workshop. Last but not least, Zhen Zhen, she is a great person indeed. I have never expected to click on with this camp commandant so easily, within a few second.Yes, I understood all the girls from the 17th coy, that they were lugubrious feeling about their teacher in-charge will be leaving soon. As gb 9th coy had experienced that too; I the beginning of the year we were being transferred to JCC as our former church was COGS.The Camp was AWESOME! :-D

I could Sing of Your Love Forever

Hasn't been it a hectic schedule for the whole of October. Phew! I can now relax myself in a more ease off holiday. But I'll be still held out by the O level Chinese paper. Paper1作文 , 应用文 Paper2, 理解测验 and 理解问答, My worse section is always Paper 2 section 1, maybe it's because I've always spent too much time on Section 3, which is the comprehension part. So now, I've decided to plan meticulously on the time spent on each and every part of the paper.GOD HELP ME!!! I don't want to get another B4 again.

Singing God's love has always been a great pleasure for all Christians during our worshipping in church's service, but how much value this time with God's presence? Do we love his name? Do we trust His name? Do we seek His name?Or do we even remember his name?
Now,True worship is to attribute worth to a real Being, one who is truly there and who is truly worthy.Though God is invisble, but he has always been here since Adam and Eve were born. The function of all believers is to learn about God, acknowledge him -- to ascribe worth to him, to reflect upon the value, beauty, and character of God. This is true worship.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for bringing me through the day and thank you for creating our family bond. Father, I continue to pray for my family's acceptance for Christ and pray that they'll grant my wish, that is; to go for service every sunday to worship you O'Lord. Father, You know that I doesn't have a glib tongue and a wide range of vocabulary to describe your power and glory on the Earth. I pray for my sister who'll be taking Maths exam paper 1 tommorrow and Tuesday. I pray that God You'll supply her with energy and necesseties formula and also help her to check for any careless mistakes that may affect her results. I pray for Man Jing for that her N level results will be as pleasing so that she'll be able to fight for her O level next year and Father, as You know she is working at Beetle bug, I hope that she'll maintain a good relationship with her colleagues. I pray for each and everyone living on the whole UNIVERSE!!! I pray that Father, you'll bless those who are suffering from contagious diseases, cancer. I pray that YOu'll supply them with advance medical treatment and their family support. For those drug delinquent, I pray that Father, you'll give them wisdom and at the same time seek your help and accept you as the YAHWEH of the whole universe.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for giving me a wake up call this morning, if not I'll be late again. Thank you for promoting all of us to sec 5 n and Father, I promise that we'll do a good job next year as we walk with You and allow all of them who reject you to come froth to you and seek your help . Father, I also pray for my friends who are taking back their results this coming December, I pray that they'll able to make a right decision for themselves, and for those who did their best, Father, I think that You'll reward them by giving them a good results with a good effort. Especially for Man jing who have been consistently striving hard for herself and always to prove herself to the best that she can be. Father, please guide her through this period of time as she's facing some relationship and family problem. I pray that Father that you would give her wisdom and righteousness to overcome this problem. Lastly, I pray for my family. I pray that my mom would be alright in letting me to go to church every sunday, I trust that You'll

LAST DAY OF THE SCHOOL TERM

Today marks the end of the school term. It's a BLISS that i didn't miss the bell again. But i was quite ashamed that I was among the few percentage of the school having a habitual late coming, when Miss Lau announced the statistic . So next year I gotta buck up on my sleeping order so that I wouldn't miss O level paper next year.
As we proceeded back to the class, Miss Chia announced that none of us would be retained or being recommended to take N level next year!!!Yep, I really hope that none of us would retain next year either but I also heard from Wei Zhao that since we are the last batch of this syllabus, they would be more lenient when it comes to marking or even moderation. BUT!! Should we not be complacent about it? it's rather risky for us because it's either hard or easy.
Operation Clean up was quite well done as and it's amazing that our class received compliment during the hall assembly. Thereafter, we headed to cafeteria for our class retreat. Canadian pizza and took a class photo but with the absence of Cynthia, Jing Lin, Maverlyn, Hanisah and Najihah.
It would definitely be a picture of nostalgia when we graduate next year. And Miss Chia would be leaving soon. She'll be going to teach the children in Thailand for about 2 months or less. Yep, I admire her attitude towards teaching, Teach not by credits and money but by faith. God bless !!

Results is the motivation, not the discouragement

... Yup I got back my results script last Friday;at the hall, except for social studies, i think the scripts were not yet been marked, but that's okay because it's just a waste of time taking back the shitty paper. OMG! I failed my English again especially for paper 2, i got 16/5o, 'sob sob' it's really horrible and terrible. For Math, I failed my paper 2 too, 42/92 but I still pass ultimately, with a 51/100; For Science, I failed my Chemistry; and that's the 1st time I failed and for PoA, though I scored well in paper 2 but I flunked my paper 1 18/40. In the end, I got a B4, and that's quite amazing, because i am the second highest and the highest, Cynthia who scored 8o. WOO! Now I could really see the big difference between N level and O level. It's easy to scrape through in N level, in terms of the marking scheme. Both N and O level may ask you the same question but O expect a higher level of thinking. Thank Goodness,there's one more year to my O level. So,I've decided to lock myself for 1 year until O level 2008 marked the end.
YES! MY LEARNING PACE MAY BE SLOWER THAN OTHERS, BUT I AM NEVER GOING TO GIVE UP ON MYSELF.

It was really scary to hear bad news about global warming from the national geographic.
"The planet is warming, from North Pole to South Pole, and everywhere in between. Globally, the mercury is already up more than 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.8 degree Celsius), and even more in sensitive polar region"
Yes, we all know that industrialization is the main cause of boosting the economy, and US is leading the global economy. However, Would US also take up the responsibility of contributing to the global warming of emitting the highest amount of Carbon dioxide and continues to generate the highest amount of greenhouse gas emission. It is also expected that China is going to overtake US in terms of their economy and also leading the country which emits most greenhouse gas .
Signals are everywhere! Sea level rise became faster over the last century.Precipitation (rain and snowfall) has increased across the globe, on average , and if this continues,

• Sea levels are expected to rise between 7 and 23 inches (18 and 59 centimeters) by the end of the century, and continued melting at the poles could add between 4 and 8 inches (10 to 20 centimeters).
• Hurricanes and other storms are likely to become stronger.
• and many more!!

Therefore, it's time for us, as a citizens of Earth to do something about it.Let's start our battle with our daily live, maybe you would consider to use a compact fluorescent lightbulb instead of halogen because it uses 80% less energy than incandescent bulb or halogen bulb .
