What's wrong with me ?

God, tell me straight on my face, why is he so special to me. It's all my fault to start this by a crush last year. And I really hate myself for setting up this immersion and now I can't stop this love. Yesterday I was late because of him, a sweet dream that cause me to be late. Blame him all. I dreamt that we got together. God, are you kidding me by giving me such a GREAT dream. On Monday, as I opened my gate, I saw him coming down. I was really happy to see him. Actually I've thought of giving him a smile but I dare not turn even back and face him. At the playground, he met a sec 1 boy and gave him something( which I do not know either, it looks like a PE shorts) and I overheard their conversation. I was nearly melted by the way he talked to him. So polite and sweet.
God, I had never fell for someone who is younger than me before. He is the first and only one.To me, he is still a BOY. A lovable,cheerful and well-mannered BOY. Yes, I'm going to hold him in my heart until someone overtakes him.

PULSE YOUTH CAMP

Today marks the end of the pulse youth camp 2007. "Phew" it was finally over, but i was traumatized by my team leader because he was kinda disgusting and totally inefficient in leading the group. I think he got the wrong concept of being a Christian leader.
Christian leaders believe in serving their team members, who cares for their member, who are responsible, who eats the humble pie so on and so forth.
Seriously, he got the wrong concept of being a good leader, he just want to sit down and wait for others to SERVE him ( HELLO! THIS IS NOT A MILITARY CAMP PLEASE DON'T TREAT US LIKE YOUR SOLDIERS WE DON'T FALL IN, WE GATHER.WE DON'T SING ARMY CHEERS, WE SING CHRISTIAN CHEERS YOU CAN NEVER BE A CELL LEADER UNLESS YOU LEARN TO SERVE AS A CHRISTIAN LEADER)
My team members consist of 12 initially, Mandy was switched to Sarang ( the red team) Marcus was sicked, Pei Ern caught a fever the day after our meeting ( but she still joined us during the last two days) Ken was on army course on the third day and Raymond left for work on the second day, so we left 6 people in our team.
I think the three guys: Samuel, Ken and Raymond had really helped me alot in my later years of leading. Samuel is matured leader, he shared his own views of being a christian, his experiences with God.He served us drinks unlike my team leader bought us fruits and paid for our taxi fares . He did nothing at all!! Ken had helped us alot in game.

True beauties are hindered by awful flaws

Today as I was having lunch with cell member, Johnathan brought up this common issue ; about teenage girls who are suffering under eating disorder such as bulimia; anorexia; , heard that those people who are suffering from eating disorder are mentally ill.
Well, to deepen the issue on eating disorder, I've also checked out more details on the net. Here it goes...
Bulimia is an illness caused by food binge( consume large amount of food) that are accompanied by a sense of lost control, which is often associated with depression. Bulimia victims usually vomit out their food to prevent weight gain.
Anorexia works very closely with Bulimia but it's just that Anorexia victims don't puke out their food, instead, they starve themselves. It begins with youngsters around puberty stage. They are usually skinny but are convinced that they are overweight.Weight loss is obtained by many ways. Some of the common techniques used are excessive exercise, intake of laxatives and not eating.. Weight loss is obtained by many ways. Anorexics have an intense fear of becoming fat. Their dieting habits develop from this fear. Anorexia mainly affects adolescent girls.

If bulimia is accompanied by anorexia, body weight may be extremely low.

It's quite devastating to hear that adolescent girls, (at my age) are usually the victim of this illness. Couldn't a teenage girl lead a healthy and cheerful sweet 16? Who should we blame then? Yep, I agree with Johnathan's words that it is actually media who convey the message to the public that skinny girls are more attractive and appealing.

TAXI DRIVER

Today after the church service, I was struggling with bags of mess tin and some other camp stuff.
( I really had no choice, but to hail a taxi home). Well, I met this pessimist taxi driver who has been abusing his health by eating high cholesterol stuff; like the coconut drink despite having a kidney problem for 8 years. He's now in his 50s' and he said that it's enough for him, he is no longer afraid of death. I told him about my godmum's life story, I wanted him to realize that there are some other patients who are like him, or even worse than him. I tried to counsel him as much as I could( I don't know that works) but most importantly, I'll pray hard that the value of kinship will help him to pull through this hurdle, may his family be the source of his willpower to walk towards a pinky health. I will always remember his words, " STUDY NOW, BOYFRIEND LATER" :). He taught me to apply toothpaste on my pimples. I think that works pretty much!

Sentosa Fun 2006 ( NOSTALgIA)

!!! HOME SWEET HOME!!!

( That's when my ultra pimple is healing)

Fiona, Naomi, Shermain and Kerinda and I, went to sentosa. I enjoyed myself very much with them and everything went smoothly despite the rain and the shrouded cloud in the late afternoon. I think sentosa's kaleidoscope of different type of bondings, be it family bonding, they have palawan beach, mingering with casual friends they have siloso beach.When we reached habourfront, we took our budget lunch. After that, our sentosa trip starts! When we alight from the bus, we proceed on to palawan beach. Two of my sister's friend, Shermaine and Karinda went to the toilet to change their shorts, meanwhile, Fiona and Naomi went to buy a ball, they intended to get a volley ball but in the end they brought back an air ball. Next, we played "monkey" while we took some candid pictures. " Hey, the ball is floating on the sea water " From a far view, while Kerinda was trying to catch the ball, it got into the sea. The lifeguard helped us to retrifed the ball, at first,we thought that he was a "hunk" but Kerinda told us that he was an uncle. (wahahahax). The sun tanning part was shiok, but toturing we sun tanned for about 20 minutes. It makes me feel thirsty. On the way to the toilet we saw a cute little toddler( I think he is a mixed blood, his skin colour and hair looks like a Caucasian, his mother is a chinese. She speaks mandarin to his son.) While we were trying to take some pictures at the treasure box water fountain, he was so cute that he was trying to play with us using his little water gun. We tried to a picture with him but he was focusing on his gun instead of the camera. Due to our savage act, we finally got our ball flatten a little. We gave him the ball.He looks so happy.After we were cleaned, we were so thristy. We made our trip to seven eleven to buy some drinks. " hoo " it was so shiok to have a fizzy drink after sun tanning.We board the train and set off palawan beach to siloso beach to have our lunch, SAKAE SUSHI. We were the only customer there, and something which amazed we were that the conveyor belt were empty, this was the first time that I have seen a conveyor belt with nothing and it was still moving uniformly. Well, the waiter said that they were trying to make the food fresh for the comsumer, thats why we have had to order manually. We have six girls and we were all big eaters, we had, fried maki, soft shell crab handroll, fried tofu, kiasiage, chawanmushi, it's abit inspid,cha soba etc. We hit the target of 60 plus of coloured plates.While it was raining heavily I feel so lucky to be inside the shelter having a buffet lunch. And due to Naomi whiny voice we got mochi, counted with the buffet lunch.Towards the end we crowded outside the restaraunt to take pictures,and the waiters who severed us took with us too. We took all those funny pictures. The funniest one was when we take turns to imitate the girl who was sleeping on the sashay loungue. Her cap was covering her face.After stepping out of SAKAE SUSHI, we went to take the train to the transfer station at siloso and took the sentosa bus to the terminal and board the next bus back to habourfront. Our Sentosa trip ends here but up next is shopping time. We went to vivo city to take a good look at it. I was enthralled by the size of the shopping mall. We did not manage to finish the shopping mall as it was too big and we were so tired ,and it is linked to its neighbor harbourfront centre. We made our way home after walking for such a long time and I have one red hairband for myself from forever21.Its a wonderful day.
