Drill Compettion

It's 14 March 2009 2.06am now. 2009 GB Drill Competition is about to start in a few hours time and this is the day that I've been looking forward since the last drill competition ended. I was Sec 4 at then. Today, drill competition is back and it's about to say "HI" to us in less than half day time.
I am pretty nervous though I am not in the contingent because I do not want to get another CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION again.
Yep! 9th coy brought COP back to school but I would dare to say that I was really happy because it was our first national drill competition. Everyone was fresh and new to the kind of GB national drill standard and we were competing with those big companies. With that setbacks and motivation, we earned ourselves 1st in our school drill competition 2007. ( But above all, we had to thank Hui Wen and Mdm Ruth for effort and patience. They had changed our history record in school)
This year, I hope that the girls could bring SILVER back to school.
Okay, I shall list all the 19 girls who will be participating in the drill competition.
Esther(thanks for coming back, your effort is greatly appreciated)

Amazing Grace

Ash Wednesday; it's the mark of lent season, it's a time for repentance, reflection and meditation of so much sins that we have done. After the service today, I was reminded of this song Amazing Grace.
Amazing Grace how sweet the sound
That save a wretch like me
I was once lost but now was found
Was blind but now I see
Twas grace that taught my heart and grace my fear relieve
How precious did that grace appear the first hour I believe
My chains are gone, I've been set free
My God, My Saviour has ransomed me
And like a flood
His mercy reigns
Unending love, amazing grace
The Lord has promised good to me
His words my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures

Korea and K.L Trip 09

Day Three. At Kimchi school; where we learnt how to make our own kimchi but we couldn't bring back home because it takes at least a day to ferment. So, fermented kimchi would be sent to old folks home.

Lotte World. It's an indoor theme park.
Shopping spree at Dongdaemun.
First meal in Korea.
It's God's art piece. Wonderful and Beautiful.

Day Two. This is Nami Island. It leaves me a good and deep impression and I felt blessed there.
Day One. A picture taken before departure.

Friends of the world! I'm back, after so much of suffering in 2008, I finally survive. I believe that for half of my blog entries, I had been complaining hard about my life. Well, it has finally paid off (except for my POA, I expected an A but it disappoint me with a B3). I've let down Mrs Kang totally, I've not guts to face her again. Other than that, I got a shock when I saw my combine science result was A2, because I flunk my science with a E8 during first term.
The release of results was announced on the 9th Jan. By then, I was in Korea, happily enjoying my life. I think at that time I was in Muju Resort, Skiing =) I didn't know 12th Jan was the Judgment day ( Release of O'level Results) Until Cherrie mass message everyone all the best for their results on the day after, but I was in Jeju Island already. I remembered that day I couldn't sleep well and was awakened when I reminded myself that day was the release of O'level results. I was afraid that my results would spoil my mood in korea if I did badly, so I decided to wait till my Korea trip ends. But in between, I asked Mr Chng how well did I do, he replied me with a " Pass all". Okay, at then my question was how well is it? I didn't asked him further because long distant text is damn Expensive. He needs money to buy milk powder for her baby girl: Cheryl.
So, I collected my results on 14Jan...
The only regret for me is POA. Otherwise, I would say that though my results are not very fantastic, but at least, it leaves me no guilt I would dare to say it's pure hardwork, I don't have any tutor to help me. Yes, I have to thank Daniel, my sister's bf who are willing to answer my physics question during late hours. I remembered that Man Jing and I had to stayed back late for rushing POA homework and even went bersek where we kept laughing doing funny things to entertain ourselves when we were almost stressed up. We resisted temptations where our friends went out for birthday party while we had to stay back late in school for Chemistry, physics consultations. Of course, we cried and I believe that God heard it and had rewarded us accordingly.

Shall post my Korea trip photos asap.
HA! Next trip is Berjaya Hills during Chinese New Year

Sec 5

Yep, I would say that I feel quite demoralize and small being a sec 5 student at the beginning of the school year because there are teachers who look down upon us. Yes, I don't blame them for that because as compared to sec 4 express, in terms of academic wise,we are inferior. You wouldn't know how much discrimination we have suffered being a "NA" student. Sometimes, even though Man Jing and I have stayed back after school to look for teachers, they would usually help them first. Though, at the end of the school day, they did help us.
However, I didn't expect so much fun I have enjoyed in sec 5 too! Shikin was right, though sec 5a and b were separated by a partition, but funny and interesting things did happen like passing textbooks across, notes and letters. The most memorable event was the sports day where sec 5 won. I would never forget the words that Mdm Rosi said, " I was so proud of my sec 5..." And I know that she was waiting to see either Yao Jun or Li Bin to be the top student for O' level. Yep, I was also overjoyed when I saw Zul ran in the first. That's the spirit of sec 5.
Next, It was the operation clean up before the june holiday. After operation clean up the sec 5s were having lots have fun

The journey

The journey

I kind of fell in love with this song, I came across this song during our graduation ceremony. I think the song lyrics is kinda meaningful because it quoted that " When they are shining on my life, I can see a better day, I wouldn't let the darkness in." Yep this song also remind me of the song " Hero" and the composition that I have wrote before O ( It was an O'level English compo topic) Heroes are the ones who shine on our life, so that we won't let the darkness in.
